About How to Kill Monsters

HOW TO KILL MONSTERS is the latest blood-soaked, popcorn horror movie from Dark Rift Horror, the award winning team behind BOOK OF MONSTERS and THE CREATURE BELOW.

The sole survivor of a blood-drenched massacre must team up with a rag-tag bunch of rookie cops and lawbreakers to fight off an invasion of monsters from another dimension.

With a menagerie of monsters realised entirely with practical effects and buckets of fake blood and guts thrown in for good measure, HOW TO KILL MONSTERS will scratch the itch of horror fans craving a throwback popcorn horror movie that delivers thrills, kills and laughs in equal measure.

Playing like Assault on Precinct 13 as made by Dead Alive-era Peter Jackson, and never stopping once to take a breath over 95 gloriously gory minutes, Stewart Sparke’s Lovecraft-inspired, throwback monster movie extravaganza has to be experienced to be believed!

“HOW TO KILL MONSTERS Serves Up Blood and Laughs By the Bucketful” - DAILY DEAD

“Not only is Sparke the king of this very specific brand of lovingly batshit micro budget crowd-pleasers, neither he nor his team are going anywhere either. They’re simply having too much fun.” - HEYUGUYS

“How to Kill Monsters is a must-see tale of the unexpected, with every act bashing apart any form of predictability, ultimately making for one hell of a gnarly ride! - DEAD NORTHERN

“a splatterfest of Eighties-style practical effects, Raimi-esque pandemonium and blood by the bucketload.” - PROJECTED FIGURES

“I don’t want to over-hype How to Kill Monsters to the point where it will never live up to expectations, but I also can’t let this go unseen by anyone who’d appreciate it.” - The GOOD, The BAD, and The VERDICT

“Sparke is on to something good here and has the right people around him – long may the monster continue.” - HORROR CULT FILMS
